Purchase a Certificate

 
 

Q:  How do you purchase a ride?

A:  The first step is determining the package that you would like to purchase (see Rate Info for packages and prices).  After you’ve determined the package, give us a call or email and we’ll take care of the necessary paperwork.  Based on your decision, we will send out a packet containing an Official LGB Flight Certificate, Flight Information and an invoice.  IN ORDER TO MAKE AN ADVANCED RESERVATION, WE REQUIRE THE PURCHASE OF A CERTIFICATE.  Non-Certificate holders will be fitted into our schedule around guests who hold an Official LGB Certificate.

 

Q:  Do we pay in advance for our flight?

A:  We only require a 50% down payment in order to reserve an advanced date.

 

Q:  What is your refund policy?

A:  We do not refund Gift Certificate purchases and Flight Certificate purchases once a reservation has been made.  If a certificate is purchased and no reservation has been made, we will refund the certificate minus a $10.00 handling fee within 30 days of purchase.  We WILL NOT refund any certificate AFTER 30 DAYS (even if no reservation has been made),

 

Q:  What is the expiration date of your Certificates?

A:  Unlike most balloon ride companies. The Lake Geneva Balloon Company doesn’t expire Active Certificates.  An Active Certificate is a certificate that has had at least one reservation made in the past 12 months.  Certificates that haven’t had a reservation made in the past 12 months are considered “Inactive” and will be honored only by the consent of management.

 

Q:  Can we transfer our certificate to another party?

A:  Your flight certificate can be redeemed by anyone.  The bearer of the certificate is the legal owner in our eyes.  If you want to sell or give away your certificate... feel free.  We only ask that the recipient of the transfer give us a call to register the certificate in their name.
